B. Amarachi Ezeocha

Dr. Amarachi Ezeocha is a veterinarian and PhDcandidate in Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University. Her research examineshow communication systems shape collaboration across human, animal, andenvironmental health. Her expertise spans clinical practice, health equityresearch, policy analysis, and knowledge mobilization. For her doctoralresearch, she uses social science methods, particularly implementation science,to understand barriers to information sharing and identify conditions thatsupport effective cross-sector collaboration. Working closely withpractitioners and partners, she co-develops practical approaches to strengthenOne Health action. Her goal is to help build communication systems that enablestronger cross-sector collaboration in addressing complex challenges such asantimicrobial resistance, zoonotic diseases, and climate-related health risks.
