Mehra Balsara

My research expertise spans the fields of molecular ecology and spatial epidemiology. The master’s and undergraduate research I completed focused on applying bioinformatics tools and statistical-genetic analyses to answer questions in quantitative and population genetics. As a doctoral student at Carleton University, I am interested in integrating genomics with vector surveillance and spatial modelling to assess the environmental drivers of West Nile virus risk.
